2018 Reading Statistics

This year was my first year using a spreadsheet to document my reading and I LOVED it. I used Brock’s spreadsheet, which I plan on using again this year. It helps me keep all my reading organized, keep track of which books I still need to review, and gives me plenty of fun stats. So, today’s post will be a nice little wrap-up of my reading stats for 2018!

I read more SF/F than I originally realized!
I split pretty evenly between ebook, hardcover, and paperbacks!
Look at all those library books!
Lots of 4-star reads!
You can pretty easily see where I slumped.
I read mostly adult books this year.
I DNFed a LOT, but mostly toward the beginning of the year.

      1. Ooh, I haven’t read either of those, although I did pick The Pisces up in a bookshop the other day. It’s hard to pick just one but a few favourites were The Toymakers, The Storm Keeper’s Island and The Dollmaker of Krakow. Oh and The Bear and the Nightingale and the second one in that series The Girl in the Tower…I could go on! πŸ™‚

    1. I thought it was interesting, too! I had forgotten about most of my DNFs. There was also a chart that showed how many DNFs I had per month. It seemed like I may have gotten better at picking out books I’d like as the year went on, because I DNFed less and less.
