Reading Goal Progress:
In January, I read 8 books, which puts me at a total of 17 books for the year. I’m 6 books ahead of schedule and at 23% of my reading goal for the year. 🙂
You know, I read Six of Crows back when it first came out and still have yet to read Crooked Kingdom. Looks like you had a fantastic reading month overall!

Thank you! And I’d highly recommend Crooked Kingdom when you get a chance. 🙂 I think I liked it even more than Six of Crows.

I’ve been really curious about the Cloverfield Paradox. I was obsessed with the original movie when it first came out, but haven’t seen 10 Cloverfield Lane yet! Do you need to have seen them both to understand TCP?

Definitely not! They’re all distinctly separate, but interrelated. I did really like 10 Cloverfield Lane, but you can absolutely skip it or wait until after TCP to watch it. 🙂

Yay I’m glad you ended up loving Crooked Kingdom!! Which did you prefer between that and SoC or are they totally on par?

I felt like I preferred Crooked Kingdom more, but they’re pretty close in quality imo! I think Crooked Kingdom is more fun because you already know all the characters and can focus more on their relationships and the plot than trying to figure out who everyone is, which I struggle with in books with ensembles, haha.
